Yesterday, major game changes were made to Dante’s Inferno. Here is a list of noticed changes:
1) Jobs now require much less energy to complete.
2) Jobs now need to be repeated more times to finish off the job. Overall, less energy needs to be spent to progress through content, however, it makes it much harder for energy-based accounts to progress through the game rapidly.
3) Jobs pay out significantly less souls for completion.
4) Artifacts pay out significantly less souls each hour (will have to update the artifacts page).
5. Artifacts now cost less to buy and less to upgraded.
6. Items now cost less to buy (and sell for less).
7. Items now have significantly less attack and defense stats. This makes stat points in attack and defense worth much more.
8. Jobs require different items. Over all, less souls are needed to purchase items and less items are required in general.

Overall, these are good game changes, but not the types of game changes that should be made after players have already established themselves. Energy has become a lot less valuable – which is good – except for the fact that many players have already spent a lot of points in energy (and stat points movements are permanent).
I also just spent 11 million souls to upgrade my Devil’s Horns (final stage of the Demon Horns artifact), only to log in to find that I wasted the 11 million because now it is only 2 million to upgrade!
I will have more on this over time and update the artifacts page and free gifts post accordingly.
