Dante’s Inferno for Facebook now has mission mastery rewards! Here is how it works:
Once you master each individual mission within each realm (1.1 is a realm, 1.2 is a realm, etc), you have the option to re-do the boss mission for a reward:
There are three levels of mastery: Stone (rank 1), Fire (rank 2), and Ice (rank 3).
When you complete the stone mastery, all of your jobs will reset to 0% mastery and you can continue again through, working on the fire mastery. Once you master all the jobs a second time, you can perform the final mission again to access ice mastery.
Rewards:
Additionally, each time you master an individual mission when working on fire or ice mastery, you will receive a bonus skill point. This is the best thing so far, as each individual realm can give you an extra 10 skill points (well, almost, some realms only have 4 jobs). This will go a very long way considering there are 45 realms total. This gives players the opportunity to earn a nearly 450 skill points.
When you complete stone and fire masteries, you will receive one favor token (one for completing stone and one for completing fire). Players can earn an extra 90 favor tokens by mastering each realm through fire mastery.
Finally, for completing a tier all three times, you receive a “realm mastery mystery” reward:
I’m guessing these items are still underdevelopment and this feature was implemented before the itemization had been completed.

In addition to these new mission mastery rewards, a few minor changes have been added to the game:
First off, players logging in will see the patch notes mentioning that the mission interface has been improved, and indeed it has. You can now buy the exact job requirements you need without leaving the page, which saves players quite a few clicks.
Secondly, I have noticed that the virtue cost for battles has decreased, albeit very slightly. At level 80, I can now fight some battles for 20 virtue, whereas the old cost was 25 (and no, I’m not talking about fighting lower level players).
Finally, some free gifts have been added to the game, which I will cover in a follow-up post!
